I hope this message finds you well and healthy under the current circumstances.

First of all let me express how much I miss all of you! Not seeing all of you last Sunday was hard on my heart. But these are unusual times. Six weeks ago, no one could have foreseen the drastic steps that have had to be taken to help deal with this pandemic. Well, that isn't exactly true--our heavenly Father foresaw it all. The things that have happened in recent days have taken us by surprise, but nothing takes Him by surprise. Because He is still in control! That is our hope in these difficult times.

The truth is nothing in this world happens without His permission. We must trust in His love and His wisdom. He always knows what He's doing. As His children, we can rest securely in the fact that our loving Father always knows what's best for us and will, without fail, accomplish His will in our lives.

Let's allow this conviction to guide our thoughts and especially our emotions as we face these uncertain times - Pastor Jim Fredrickson

Building My House on the Rock Series

by Pastor Jim Fredrickson

Through April, we are looking at Building My House on the Rock, A sermon series that will challenge us to evaluate our core beliefs upon which we base our lives, in a time where our culture is more concerned with tolerance than with truth. We are evaluating 10 values so that we may rebuild on the rock of God's foundation. Today we are looking at part 9 in the series.

Stephanie Baker is putting together the supplies needed for the children to work on a gift basket to be delivered to families of children. The basket will be filled with candy-filled eggs within a large egg container with a yellow handle on it.

All the supplies will be handled safely with consideration of the COVID-19 virus.

The gift basket will also include a small wooden plaque with a picture related to a story about Jesus and a scripture on the back to be used for home reading, along with the family. Stephanie has arranged for egg coloring of hard-boiled eggs she has secured, along with egg containers with a special message and names of families on it for delivery.

She has also planned a time of inspiration in music with personal KAZOOS that have been personally cleaned and wrapped to give out for an Easter Celebration party to be scheduled.
