Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romane 12:1 NIV
What are we to offer to God?
We are to present our bodies to God - Holy and pleasing to Him.
Why is God asking for a Living Sacrifice?
God wants us to present our bodies to Him, with all the living energy, capabilities and powers that we have, to be consciously directed in every aspect of our lives to Him in service.
Why does God want a Holy Sacrifice?
God wants our service to Him to reside in the heart that is devoted and dedicated to Him for right living; this submission and obedience is a true, holy and perfect form of worship and is pleasing to God.
Why is knowing who God is so very important to us in our true spiritual worship?

He is the Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Almighty God.

How does God's abiding presence in your life bring you joy?God Works In Us and Through Us:
For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13 (ESV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)
How does God move in your life to perfect in you and through you His perfect plan for you?
God Touches Every Life and Heals Every Heart: The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18 (ESV) And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (ESV)
How does God touch your life in a way that makes sense even when it appears unclear?
God is the Way Maker; Miracle Worker: But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 (ESV)
How is God your Way Maker, Miracle Worker?
God is the Promise Keeper; the Light in Darkness: … as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name. Psalm 138:2 (NLT) The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 (ESV)
How do you respond to your Promise Keeper?
How do you respond to the Light of your Life?
God is Working, He is the Almighty God: I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8 (ESV) Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. 1 Corinthians 13:12 (NLT)
Does God stop working if you don’t see it? Does God stop working if you don’t feel it? Write a prayer to the God Almighty who sees and knows all things; who never stops working when you don’t feel it, who gives you light in darkness when you don’t feel it, who honors His promises by His name the guarantee of the Only True God.
