- ADMIT... that you are a sinner and need God's forgiveness
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Romans 3:23
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way. Isaiah 53:6
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
- REPENT...Turn away from your sins and turn to God.
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
- BELIEVE... Believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for you and showed He was God by coming back to life again.
Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Philippians 2:36
- RECEIVE... Jesus into your life as your new Boss. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works... Ephesians 2:8-9
If you are willing to take these steps, sincerely pray this prayer in your heart:
"Dear God, I know you love me. I believe You sent Your Son, Jesus, to die for my sins and that He rose from the dead. I'm sorry I've lived for myself and I ask for Your forgiveness for all my sins. I want You to be the Boss of my life and live the way You want me to. Amen"
